I've just bought an '07 E320 CDI and have discovered that both of the NeckPro head restraints are in the triggered position. Does anyone know of any reason why that might be (e.g. caused by battery or power disconnection) or do they only trigger in an accident?
Also, does anybody know whether there is a way of verifying whether the front seats in my E-class are the ones it left the factory with? The leather has a few very noticeable scratches on which I don't remember from the test drive (and I checked the bolsters carefully) which when combined with the triggered NeckPros I'm wondering whether they may have been swapped.
Bought Approved Used from official MB dealer so you would hope not but it also seems weird to have triggered NeckPros unless anyone can point out a straightforward reason why they would be like that.
Many thanks for any help.
Andy
