340 mile round trip completed, V8 loveliness now parked up at home.

For the record, I now have twenty cylinders at my disposal. That is all.

Pah,stop messing around with all this AMG history and get nearer the times with a 55 or 63 !! ;)

With all them cylinders you'll have the Tree Huggers after you!

Which reminds me. Today I've been in hospital and on arrival there was a new shape CLS in the carpark looking very smart than as I was in reception another turned round in the turning space...it was a brilliant silver CLS-63.

Hmmm..

I see a certain style of progression here....

You know where its going to end!

I know mate, it's going to start becoming a costly business this AMG ownership lark.

This V8 is more 'shouty' than the C36, you certainly couldn't use as a cat burgling car.:thumb:

Very nice!

I'll be interested to hear which you Ecoe most attached to 36 or 43

I must admit it's one of two MB's I'd have if I had the space, the other being a 560SEC which I've had a hankering for for some time. Afraid I prefer the olduns.

Thanks Bobby. :)

First impressions; the burble of the V8 is nice, very nice. My C36 has more of a rasp and in all honesty, I like both sounds!

Power-wise; on paper there isn't much between then and in reality there's not much, the C43 feels a bit gruntier and the C36 more revier (are 'gruntier' and 'revier' real words?)

^They are now. Dikionery of Yokshire dialect.
