Brabus for boot lid

If you reeeally really want one, then try American Ebay? . . . check it out @ www.ebay.com - I'm sure you will find one there.

but you NEED the Avantagarde grille first ;) ;)

Here's a bonnet badge on german eBay - that should keep you happy to be going on with ;)

Not on commission with the Grilles, don't worry ;) - just my personal opinion that its the most popular bodywork mod, after wheels.

I'd debadge your car (i.e. remove the C240), and just leave the star if you want a cleaner look. Don't think the big rear brabus emblem will do it any favours.

Here's the chrome Brabus wording if you decide to go for that instead of the C240.

I dont take offence Graham dont worry
I think I remember a comment that you made on a previous thread, please excuse the paraphrase.
When the badges are used on an "fake" car then it de-values the brand.
and I admit G that I do see you point mate
(please correct me if I have not got it right)

Not my quote, don't see it from that angle, but do find it amusing when people false badge, it does tend to make me wonder why and who on the planet they think they are fooling/impressing.

BUT, you are not the 1st, nor will you be the last!

appologies Graham for miss quoting.

See you point, that is what is great about these Forums, every can have their own opinion, Thanks Graham :)

PS, had to wait to use work internet connection to see your pic today (still don't know why not working at home!) - looks great!! Will be jealous when you get the drop. Mine could do with shaving a cm of the ride height - I keep eating lots, but it's not working!

trust me, if I cant get the car lower with my weight then you've got no chance :D

I'm going to de badge mine at the weekend. I saw one this morning and thought it looked good.

Must admit - my pref is to debadge rather than badge up - unless you're going for a full tongue in cheek jobby:D

I agree.

I also have sympathy for everyone who persists and cleans in between the KOMPRESSOR lettering - so fiddley!

Less is definitely more, where badges are concerned ;), Nurburgring decal excluded, of course ;) ;)

Graham . . . never mind that nonsense, have sympathy for those of us who don't even have kompressor badges to clean in the first place :( :( :( :( :(

Well this thread illustrated what I have been thinking since the wheels went on, I have been thinking that the Brab badge detracts from the "look" of the car now the wheels are on. I feel a removal spree coming on ;)

Personally, I prefer to keep my car as stock as possible (granted I've fitted SLK centre caps and Evolution alloy pedals, my vices :p ) I like my car as it came from the factory.

Infact, as I've said before, I think my ideal car would be an AMG C43 without AMG bodykit and de-badged (or ironically badged as a C180/200/230/240 etc).

I once saw a white 190E at George Fraser's garage (it was in for service work) and that had a BRABUS badge on the back... to be honest (and I stress this is only my opinion) it looked really naff.

I prefer quiet understatement to the extent of having a 'sleeper car'.
