brabus tuning boxes ?

Guys i am after a tuning box for my 2008 w211 e320 cdi sport,now at first i was told that if i was to find a 2nd hand brabus box it would have to be one for a w211 , so i been looking for one for a w211 with no luck

On ebay there are a fair few brabus boxes but ones for s320 cdi or ML320 cdi etc ,off three different people i have been told now that any brabus box for a 320 cdi engine is interchangeable , does any one know on here if they are interchangeable ?

This is the one i can buy , i think its for the the w211 as it says that on the side , but the guy saod he had it on his ML

Yes there is a loom to mate , i bought it off a MB tec a mercedes specialist ,who incidentally had it on his own ML

Apparently so, this box fits the 4 matic as well as the w211 e320 cdi.
But the merc specialist that i bought it from said that this box was fitted to his ML and that all the brabus D6 boxes for the 320 cdi are inter changeable.
Wether thats right or not , just glad i found one that was for my model e class

It has the special order metallic paint by Designio , its called mauritius blue .

Apparently only a handful of w211 was eva ordered in that colour, i love it

They are quick with the Brabus boxes on. It still makes me think what the D6S would be like on my E350cdi - although to be honest it feels quick enough.

I had a great drive Sunday am through the good driving roads in South Wales. It's some overtaking car as stock.

I dint want to go down the route of just re map , i felt more comfortable buying the proper box thats designed for the car
They say MPG is improved ,But I dont know if its any better on fuel yet, as it might be a while before i get to find out about MPG improvement the way i have been driving since having it fitted

This was what brabus sent me in an email below.
Rated power output jumps from standard 224 hp / 165 kW to 272 hp / 200 kW at just 3,800 rpm with BRABUS PowerXtra D6 (III) tuning. Simultaneously peak torque grows from standard 510 Nm to 590 Nm.
Performance is on a correspondingly high level: The E320 CDI sport sprints from rest to 62mph in just 6.1 seconds (0-62 6.8 standard) . Top speed is still limited to 155 mph.

With the box fitted It just feels far more long legged , and seems less strained to get near its top speed ,if that makes sense ?
For me it just feels like a different car , and they are pretty quick as standard.

Certainly makes for a very quick car when you think how much they weigh.

BTW... Loving that Mauritius Blue, I saw a couple of CLS's in that colour when looking for mine.

Thats right steve , i have seen the colour in the CLS to , their is one for sale at the mo i think on there
I think it looks awesome in the w211 , wouldnt mind a nice late e55 amg in the colour , wonder if anyone actually ordered one in it ?

As for the Brabus box , so pleased i fitted it , in the end it cost me £470 fitted ,£400 for the box and £70 to get it put on
