Looks like its had the Brabus cosmetics pack which you could get for the 209, definitely not a Brabus motor under the hood, but it a good looker though :thumb:

It says some Brabus work on the engine but they don't work on engines do they? (They only fit their own modded units?)

There is no mention of Brabus on the datacard

So all aftermarket added ... Probably a lot of it knock off ..

Wouldn't the Brabus version have 4 tail pipes also? Just looked again, and there is no mention of AMG either. Sales Designation is CLK 500

No they work on engines too, mine included :D Usually headers kompressors and intercoolers etc... very rare engine internals, as you say for that they use their own lump

You could order all that kit from Brabus for dealer fit, there's loads in Germany like it even on smaller engined cars. My guess is CLK 500 with Brabus Cosmetic pack

If this is the same one, it has come up for sale several times and is a cat D due to a boot fire from the Sam unit, it's just body styling nothing else.

That s class looks like a dog.

Most 'brabus' cars are.

Very very rare to find a proper car or even one that has been modified well...most seem to have more in common with Halfords than Mercedes.

That S is never a Brabus car in a million years, if it is they have forgot to put a few bits on it. I'd love to know the VIN so it could be checked against the Brabus register. I've seen and driven a few Brabus 220's and none of them look like that. If thats a genuine car then its miles under priced. Remember if it looks too good to be true ... well you now the rest :D

As stated some dealers offered Brabus add ons (I know Derby did) including some re-mapping/tuning.

Having worked in the Mercedes factories in Germany, none of this is factory fit (despite what the owners think) nearly all is dealer fit or fitted at the distribution centres.

Is that Brabus Velcro on the dash though?

I am hoping so ... If there is documented evidence it is genuine Brabus velcro then I am in.
