Brake pad options

Evening all

My SL63 MG (R231) needs new discs & pads, I'm going Brembo OEM disc but wanted to some ideas, experience with pads. It's a daily drivers, I don't do track days in it but do enjoy "enthusiastic" driving...

Thoughts, experience, feedback appreciated

If you do not like brake dust (and I mean virtually zero brake dust) but want do enjoy quiet efficient braking Akebono Carbon Ceramic are what I have been using for a while now . I Also have no interest in track day driving my car.

Try to upgrade the rear pads to Brembo but they don't have this ring that sits on top with indentation on the outer pads. Any other option to go for?
