How do I find the part numbers of the brakes (disc and pads) for my vehicle?
I've entered the vin in to the Russian site but this just tells me the options codes. I've looked on Inchcape and they exclude Sport and AMG, but don't show alternatives.

I have a 2006 W203 Estate with the sport pack (drilled larger discs and lettered calipers).

TIA

For option code 949, sports package:

Disk A2034211312

pads depending on VIN number.
A0044205120 from F583910

Excellent, many thanks . Out of interest how did you find this, so I don't need to ask again?

Mercedes EPC.

Just check the VIN number before ordering, but it should be correct.

I assume yours is option code 949, not 950, which is AMG.

Mercedes EPC on subscription is NOT as up to date as the version actually in the dealer parts dept so be carerful and never assume you have the correct part number.

ALWAYS give the parts person the VIN and let them tell you the correct (and latest) part numbers.

Had this exact instance only yesterday as follows:

* Russian site gave me one part number (after feeding in my VIN)

* My subscription Mercedes EPC gave me another (updated part) number.

* The actual dealer parts dept gave me over the phone a few minutes later, an even later updated part number. (He knew and could see the previous updated part number which I had got).

So, be careful and never assume.

I found the Russian VIN checker but didn't know about the EPC. Looks like I'll have a play.

Yep 949.
