Brake stop switch

Now i was talking to a mate of mine and about the little problem with a brake/anti skid caption on the dash and he mentioned that his brother worked in the parts dept of mercedes and told me to get the part number and he would see wot he could do....anyway, he managed to the get the part (at a very resonable cost) and i fitted it yesterday..

The question being.......the car feels much quicker now and the cruise control works....is it just me or was this all connected???

It won't feel any quicker thats all in your mind but the cruise working is due to the faulty switch.

maybe the old switch had fallen behind the accelerator pedal?
