breather hose replacement for c class s203

hi i am new to the forum acutally i have a problem with my c class etstate 1.8 s203 lack of power. i take it to mercedes garage for diagnose my car. it was told to me that need to change the accelator and breather hose. where as i have changed the accelator paddle but wondering to change the breather hose please can anyone tell me where it is located and how it can be changed and also tell me this change will solve my problem or need to change the MAF Sensor as well.

The split hose is a common issue of M271 engines, I believe it's under the air filter box, but someone will confirm .

sounds like the same issue that i had.

There are 2 one under the airbox and one under the supercharger, both of which will be a pain to get to without certain tools.

so it is breather hose not the maf sensor

Split breather hoses can cause maf faults to appear in the fault memory.

i went to the mercedes garage for replace the same hose they told me to pay £350 for it. Honestly it is too much if anyone can help me with diagram or point out where it is and tool which required. i can do it.

Great I have done by myself ! Actually there was nothing wrong with breather hose it was MAF sensor
