Bright Silver or Gloss Black?

I am toying with the idea of trying Gloss Black on my new (to me) c200k. The wheels need a refurb but I can't decide on the finish. They are AMG.

I am doing refurb as I cannot justify a set of C63 (black multispokes) unless someone has a set for me?

I HATE tatty wheels!!

Any opinions???

You are lucky because with that colour either of your suggestions would look great..

I would lean towards Black.
Try the people I went to.. If you drop off the car / wheels in the morning first thing, then you will have it back by 4.40pm THAT SAME DAY

Alloy wheel refurbishment and repair - Quality refurbished wheels

They will stand different colours of wheel next to your car for you to make up your mind which colour to go for..

Black wheels looks great on a red car, you could also look at satin black which has a softer look but not as extreme as flat or matte black.

Sorry, but IMO anthracite, black etc just look like dirty wheels from the word go.

I recently did a similar poll on this forum and the other re wheel colours.
I very quickly realised its your own decision..
Dirty wheels are dirty and dont actually look like anthrecite nor black..
I strongly suggest you go to the alloy whhel refurb place and ask them to put various colours besides your car..
I did this and we both concluded that Black Chrome worked well for my car..
If my car had been a different colour then I would have gone for anthrecite. But it looked just wrong when she put the wheel along side my car...

I agree, though, very much a personal choice - I have wires on the JZR, and they ALWAYS look dirty, possibly because they are a pig to clean............

I very nearly went for Sterling Silver..
Its certainly one of the better variants of Silver in my opinion.

I think satin black is nicer than gloss that's what I have on mine ?

Got 2 sets of wheels, 19's for the summer (all 3 days of it!!), & 18's for the winter, both gloss black!!

Did see a similar post on a Toyota Prius forum, & was not surprised to see that fans of Silver wheels, included:
