C Class service menu..

Evening all, quick question, when the car ( 2005 c220 ) needs a service does it pop up and say on the console or do you need to go into the menu to see it?

no need to check the menu, it will give you prior warning without you having to look for it.

Yep, it will come-up with one spanner for service A, or two spanners for service B, and will say 'Service x in xx miles' or 'Service x in xx days' (if you don't do many miles, the whole thing becomes time-based).

This will show on the LCD display (the one between the two dials) whenever you switch on, will stay for a few minutes, and will go away as soon as you get the car going.
