I'm sorry, I really don't know now. I doubt it was any different to any other quality respray but, nearly four years on, it has not proved to be particularly chip-resistant. Still come up nicely, though.
(Another of those thread revivals by chummy, above, who contributed another ten valuable, insightful comments that day.

Superb thread. The car is stunning. The W124 coupe is one of the nicest Mercedes's made. I really really regret selling my 300CE.
