C124 spoiler

Hi all,

The nice chaps at Star Motors will be removing the spoiler from my car soon but I was looking at it the other day and it turns out to be a Carat Duchatelet spoiler. I take it that means that it was fitted from day one?

Anyway, firstly am I doing a bad thing having it removed? I can live with it I guess but I'm not too keen on it. Secondly, is the spoiler an eBay money maker if we can get it off cleanly?

It would only be fitted from day one,if it`s got Carat package
Is not worth much,50 max I`d say

It's a bit tatty to be honest, peeling laquer. Free to a good home once it comes off.

Don't do it Dash , i had one on my white one.

I was desperate to get it off but it's drilled through the lid to fit it.

Looks much better without.

If you must have a spoiler , get a ducktail.

Mine was bolted through the bootlid , it's not just a stick on jobby.

The holes will need welding / filling and then the lid will need painting.
