C200 cdi coupe limited to 3500 revs

Hi guys, iv just got a C200 CDI 54 plate.. its a manual... it wouldnt go above 90mph flat out and red lines when i rev it at 3500 revs...

Im wondering maf sensor or is it limited?

Help would be appriciated

It sounds like comeone has coded the limiter in.

The revs at 3500rpm, is that as standstill?

thats what i thought, yeah standstill 3500... can i programme it out via the multifunction steering wheel or is it ecu jobby? if so all it needs is a remap right?

No re-map. Just some coding changes.

It should not rev anymore over 3,500rpm when stationary that is normal. As for not going over 90mph, you don't have your speed limiter set at that speed ??
Or does the car lack power getting to 90mph, if so could be a split top intercooler pipe

nah wouldnt be anything like that, iv just driven it back from surrey to cornwall at a decent pace. Im not sure about not revving higher than 3500 my dads S320 cdi revs to the highest 4,500 revs stationary.

where would i get it coded?
