I wonder if anyone out there can advise (with pics if possible) how to remove the wood veneer trims around the gear lever & the flap covering the cup holder?
(As you can see, both have cracked & I want to get them re-finished)

Thanks in advance.

Im not shure how they are removed but by re fineshed you mean buying new ones right. Why not the change the whole centre console to the burl wood style it would look alot better and you could easily source it from a breakers yard it may even turn out to be cheaper to do that than to buy those two peices new from the dealer in that wood finesh design.

This guy should be able to help you out

Hes part of the forum also

1.Prise off the black surround, around the shifter.

2. Open up the slow moving cup hole, with the hole open, simply pull up the woodern surround (with force) you wont break it!

As for the cupholder cover, press together the 'arms' so they detact from the holder/arms.

With it removed you should be able to slide it away from the plastic/pull it off & re glue if required.

Simple as that. :)

Thanks for the tips guys.
I had thought of replacing the lot....But finding a set with matching cut outs seemed remote....(see attached)
BTW, I did mean re-finished. A previous poster got his done by a guitar repairer, so thought I would try that route!
