C200K W203 Exhaust Manifold

Any idea what I should be paying to get this sorted, seems to be blowing aroung the edge so I doubt it's the gasket. I could get it welded but the cost will be in the labour to remove and refit.

I'm trading it in in 6 weeks so need to keep costs to rock bottom. I'm in Leeds/Bradford area if anyone has recommendations. Warranty ran out 1 month ago exactly

I dont understand When you say its blowing around the edge, do you mean the edge of the manifold or ??????????? If its from round the manifold then it is most likley the gasket and wont be that costley to fix if you take it to somone like kwikfit.

The exhaust manifold appears to be made of two pieces and somehow welded/bonded together ( a bit like the old mini bodywork seams down the outside), well the joint seems to be coming apart along the length of it. If you hold a mirror against it you can see where its it's coming apart, holding your hand against it also confirms it as you can feel it blowing.

Oh, i see. You say the warranty ran out 1 month ago. Surley that kind of a blow and break in the join started long before the warranty ran out? Can you not take the car back stating that fact? It might be worth a try.
