Seeing the attached fault codes on my car recently resulting in the usual ABS error codes. Codes are showing front left sensor, so will get onto replacing that.

What options do I have in sourcing the part? Is respectable aftermarket ok for these should I go genuine?

The AMG has a slightly longer cable on it because of the wider front track. Aftermarket ones often say they fit all models of C class. Genuine sensor isn’t as expensive as you might think, £74+vat retail. It’s a no brainer to me.

Yep.. fair enough.

Should axles be replaced at the same time or is it ok just to replace the problematic one?

Well sometimes you get a build up of rust under the wheel speed sensor, not such a hard job to undo the single bolt and lifting the sensor then scrap the area where the sensor fits, and then replace, you never know it could save you replacing a good sensor.that said I have never worked ona C63.

Or it could be the reluctor ring or magnetic bearing if it has one.
The wife's B200 ABS sensor showed a failure 2 years ago, turned out to be the magnetic bearing, I did buy a new Febi sensor for about £30 and that's still working fine.
Easiest thing to do is swap the sensors over and see if the problem goes to the right side, just to prove its the sensor.
