Hi all

Posting for a relative. Has an '02 plate CL500, currently sitting forlornly on my drive. Was getting an ABC warning. My local Star equippedguy came out to do some bits for me and got a couple of falt codes:
c1525 - 001
c1525 - 002
c1525 - 064

He then ran a diagnostic which caused quite a bit of smoke due I think to leaking fluid onto the exhaust, smoke was appearing from o/s/r wheelarch, yet it had been the front of the car that had initially dropped.
He's just told me that he noticed a fluid/oil patch which seemed to be along the centreline of the car, in the area of the windscreen.
If it was a leaky strut, surely the fluid wouldn't be near the exhaust.

Any pointers?

It's probably a leaky pipe, I've got recollections of the one under the centre of the car being an issue.

Tell your relative that if he wants a hydraulically suspended car that works, buy a Citroen...

Anyone got any more info on this? I need to get the car into a specialist but forewarned is forearmed so to speak...

I had this on mine not long after I bought it. The problem was the seal on an hydraulic pipe leaking. This was due to the car not having been used for six months and the seal drying up. Cost about £200 to fix.

Any idea whereabouts on the pipework?
