- X218 CLS500 AMG BlueEfficiency Sport Shooting Brake - name almost as long as the car... & W202 C200
The lineup is confusing. There was the "standard" CLS (only available pre-facelift 2011-2013/14) which has the double bar grille and additional chromework along the lower edge of the doors and side bumpers. Xenon headlights (round bulbs) instead of LEDs. Also with 18" wheels.
Then there are "AMG" models with one bar grille, no lower side chrome and (nearly always) 19" wheels. These are like the AMG-line in more recent models. Engines are diesels and petrols as with the standard models.
Then there are the real AMG CLSs which are 6.3l V8 petrol and coupe only.
On the 19" wheels, my CLS500SB ("AMG", not real AMG!) had 18" from new. My previous CLS320CDI came with 19" and I swapped them for the smaller ones. Both my cars have Airmatic and drive much better on the smaller wheels imho.
