I have to say, for a V6 Auto my wagon is doing very well juice-wise. Average so far over 2000 miles is 31mpg, never dipping below 28 average even around town. For a daily commute of 6 miles in slow traffic, generally one trip of 150 miles a tank and a few short journies, my stats are:
Tank 1: 37.0 mpg
Tank 2: 29.4 mpg
Tank 3: 30.0 mpg
Tank 4: 28.8 mpg
Tank 5: 30.5 mpg
Tank 6: 30.1 mpg
I do tend to drive with the autobox in (W)aft rather than (S)narl, but don't dither about. Must try a whole tank in (S)narl to see if it drops by much.
I have read a couple of threads about changing the instrument cluster for a newer W210 one on a W202, is it possible to enable the fuel computer display? This would be really cool!
