C270 CDI inlet manifold linkage

Hi I think the linkage on the butterfly in the inlet manifold may of come off.
Under boost I am getting alot of air noise from the inlet manifold area.
Any idea where abouts this linkage is I have had a good look around the manifold and can not find anything. Can anyone help.

I suggest you feel under the maifold for the loose rod. It is very obvious when it is loose.

Do you have a lack of poer problem too?

There is a definate lack of power. Can not find anything under manifold is it at the front or back.

Right near the point where the manifold meets the head.

I would suggest that you have a intercooler or boost pipe leaking if you hear a whooshing noise.

Have a good look at them.

so you are hearing a "whossing" sound under load?
If not very likely you have a leakage like mine at the turbo exit at the manifold. Located under the air intake assembly hely by 2 metal clips. Im having trouble sourcing out the gasket at my place.

Had a look at the point where the inlet manifold meets the head and i can see a flat metal road with ball fitting on the end just hanging there. Problem is I can not get anywhere near it. Can it be pushed back on. What is the best way to get to it. Can it be accessed from underneath?

Am I risking any damage running it with this bar disconnected.
