c32 battery/altenator mailfunction

hi wounderd if anyone can help . this morning on the way to work the battery / altenator flashes up on the dash got to work and when i finished started the car and nothing came up there was no mailfunction then on the way home after about 15 miles another mailfunction light came on saying device under voltage . can anyone help please . i have recently removed the cd changer to be fixed would this have any thing to do with it ?

have done a voltage test whilst the car was running and it was 11.5 which 2volts lower than it should be i think ?

It is a bit low, should be around 13.5- 14 volts.
