C350 BE Petrol

Is anyone here running one of these engines? I notice a marked improvement on co & mpg figures over the old engine.

It also has similar power to the turbocharged BMW 335i.

Yep I have the same engine in my CLS and love it. It doesn't quite have the shove of my 335i but it's not far off and makes a lovely noise while returning 31mpg

Thanks Aswall, quite tempted by it to be honest also noticed it's a proper 3.5 litre too.

Hi, am the proud owner of a 2011 C350 BE 125edition. Fabulous car to drive, silky smooth when you want casual driving and put it in sports mode and things start feeling how you expect them to in that mode.

30.2mpg is the best figures I've gotten so far bearing in mind it's a 2 week old car which isn't such bad going seeing as I've had a mix of city and motorway driving where my right foot has been on the heavier side.

The engines are supposed to return better figures once you've got a couple of thousand miles behind you.

Will do a detailed review in the next couple of weeks once I get some time to myself!

Id say that mpg is quite good and not far behind the diesel cars figures
