Has anyone tried/compared these 2 trim restorer products?

Need to sort out the running boards and under bumper plastics on my cars. Both items are hard plastic with textured finishes.......so any good recommendation accepted.

The G-techniq C4 is (in my opinion having tried many) the best out there. It is very expensive, but if used correctly and carefully the coverage is surprisingly good. It is also very long lasting.

I used it on 32 year old plastic exterior handles on my 124. The results were brilliant brining them from a powdered, white/grey to an almost original black finish.

So then I got clever and last week tried it diluted (as per the instructions) at 10/1 with water. This I used on on No1 daughters Toyota Aygo which uses black plastic as a design feature. So it really needs to be good. I don’t have any before shots (as I’m an idiot and forgot). But here are some afters.

I have no experience regarding Solution Finish, but I had my C Class treated with G-techniq C4 2 Years ago and it's still a delight to wash and dry and I have booked my latest purchase that I pick up on Wednesday the 13th March in for the same Treatment on Thursday 14th, it is a tad expensive, but I thing the time saved washing your Car is worth it! :D

Thanks Gents. C4 and IPA (IsoPropyl Alcohol for the non detailers AND not to confuse beer drinkers  ).

The £1+/ml makes me wince but then the faded plastics upset me even more.

Will report back once used.

I have never used solution finish but i do use C4 trim restorer it's one of my favorite detailing products.

The little glass vile goes a long way as long as you follow the instructions and i would say for me it's maybe a two or three times a year job.

I was quite heavy handed with it the first time but there is no need to be as it coveres well and lasts.

I use Gtechniq products also, impressed the results.
I also use Chemical Brothers tire and trim restorer sometimes. Just a wee bit on the cloth goes miles and miles and brings back faded trim to new.
A careful use of a heat gun does the same thing but I just would not risk that on any of my client's cars.
