why you wanna retrofit a crappy sound system?
better buy better audio parts you choose from your personal taste!

BOSE amp tends to break and sound poor!
these are no good amps when they go bad.
buying used u never know when they break?
Better buy NAIM AUDIO like in the Bentleys :bannana: to bad we can't afford that audio setup

More agro than what it's worth. You have to put the wiring loom in and that is also costly.

You will get a far better sound and far better value for money if you went for an off the shelf system. Also the installation will be miles easier.

Do anyone know maybe what the Bose system has, for example

AMP 3600 watt's
9 x speakers ( 2 mids , 2 tweeters , 1 sub etc.) with all the wattages

The reason why I am asking is because I want to upgrade my sound a little bit but I don’t want to sound like a "boy racer".

Something with quality.

I have the navigation radio that the car came out with but do not want to get rid of it. I think the radio is BE4716 named

As far as I can understand the sub is located in the middle of the 2 seakers in the rear. Are there predrilled holes for them already?

just go for an aftermarket audio setup, even i wouldnt retrofit the bose, talkaudio.com is a good place to start.
