C43 foglights

Found this on another forum and thought it may be of use, I had to buy a whole new fog lamp when my lens cracked

alright ... in the spirit of information sharing, i've found out some stuff re my fogs:

(1) even though the dealership and most retailers say that the lens alone is NOT available, it is available. you can use the same lens that is sold for the 98 clk, 00 e320, and 97 up slk. mb part numbers 170 826 10 90, and 170 826 09 90.

(2) i accessed my fog lights by removing my front bumper. a simple job ... remove 4 nuts, and carefully slide that mofo off.

That's VERY useful! Makes me wonder if the foglamp unit is also the same, might be cheaper to get standard 170 or 210 lamps over the c43 lamps!
