Just read the adventure Dittrich has had going to Russia and back wow. We won't match the 8000 miles!!!
We are spending most of the trip in Spain and just driving through France, although our first stop is at a great looking Chateau just outside Tours. We have booked half a dozen Paradors to stay at whilst we are traveling in Spain, i have heard great things about them. Starting in the north and finishing just outside of Jerez, calling at Cordoba and Sevilla. Then we go to a little hotel on the beach in a village called Zahara De Los Atunes which is near Tarifa for a few days, to get over all that sightseeing. That coast, the Costa del Luz has the most wondeful beaches it being on the Atlantic.
Then head back home via a Parador near Salamanca then to a little village on
the coast near the Spanish/French border. We then make our way through France stopping again near Tours. Then the weekend at Le Touquet and then back through the tunnel and reality.
