A long time ago when I was just a kid, I was taught on abank lending course that if you decided to say yes and lend dont to it grudgingly. Make the customer feel good about how you lend as well as the fact that you did lend. Surely having decided to lend out a £50k car it would have created such a good impression to have it valeted, fuelled and ready to go. Also the dealer saying "I dont know how you got this...."
Basically the message is, "wish I didnt have to lend you this. You can blooming well clean it and fuel it...."
So how likely are you to feel loyal to that dealership and buy one from them?? Will they ever learn?
