C55 rarity

I test drove C63's at the local dealership twice, and they are fabulous. For me though, they are just a bit too "shouty". I don't so much mean the noise, that's lovely! It's the looks - they are quite aggressive, and I much prefer my AMGs to "wear a dark suit and carry a big stick". The 55 is under the radar until you are past and they clock the four tailpipes and realise what has just blown them into the weeds.

even better was my old debadged C32 -only 2 tail pipes meant that even petrol heads who tailgaited thought it was a c220
I considered adding a c220 badge but stopped short....

Blimey. 100,000 more miles than mine for same year car. Does it still run smoothly? Just wondering what the engine life might be on mine, or when major bits need seeing to. Cheers.

I would not worry about the engine and mileage, if it's been maintained. It should go like one with 48k

At 148k, surely lots of motorway miles meaning the engine is probably very under stressed.
