Sorry mssed your post, I live out by Botley/curdridge. If you know silver lakes garage I am in that area. Where abouts in Ashurst? My wife comes from there, Wartons lane. Often over there visiting th inlaws So if you see a black C63 coupe with a private A16 plate give us a wave as thats me!!!!

Ah its a small world! I am originally from Totton and though I am in Maidenhead these days, half the family live in Totton or Cadnam and I come through Ashurst some weekends. Of course I have only a humble C250 but will keep my eyes peeled for your beast!

Had a meeting in Bristol on thursday which is a round trip of 230 miles. On the way there I left a bit earlier with the intention of getting lunch on the way and decided I would have a nice gentle drive. Kept is nice and steady and cruised at around 75mph. The result was a staggering 24.1mpg! On the way home I drove normally and managed 20.4mpg. Hmmm wont be doing that again. The drive there was seriously boring. My bus only does 65-70mph but it is a fun 65-70mph...

I'm up in Shaftesbury, don't know which way you go to Bristol but I'll keep an eye out if you're up this way.

I'm still running mine in, it's taking for ever!

I was fortunate that I had a couple of runs to dover for work in mine when I first collected it and a run from dover to exeter, meant I got the job done quite quickly. But no help to you obv

Now it is run in I am habing a blast. I know the RS mode is just a gimic, but it's bloody good fun. I have only just had a chance to use it due to it being too cold or wet to get any traction. I had a couple of goes over the weekend. Much fun!!!!
