C63 coupe parcel shelf rattle

Hi guys,

Just wanted to ask if any of you have issues with rear parcel shelf rattle if so is it fixable its driving me nuts.

A rattle of any kind in a car drives me NUTS! I hope you get it sorted.

I remember something similar in my old BMW 3 series coupe. I fixed it by stuffing a tennis ball between the shelf and the rear bulkhead.

That only fixes racquets not rattles

Just came back from mb guildford, they said its a known issue and the problem is 3rd brake light rubbing against parcel shelf. Booked in for next month as they are completely busy and its 4-6 hour job!

I have read this was a common problem in the C63 but unsure on what year models or whether it was rectified in later models.

Success Guilford MB managed to fix the rattle
