I think since it's a limited edition car, then the owner can ask pretty much anything, because you can't buy/order it elsewhere...

yes they were 1 of 20, 15saloons & 5 estates i think they are hoping at that price.
i dont think they sold that well was offered one about 2weeks ago brand new.

just because they are limited doesnt mean they will get that money for them.
the sl65amg black was a good example of that only 9 came to the uk and they still have 2 at brooklands a new showroom car and a car that has done 200 miles that have been sitting there for nearly a year

Of course they can ask what they want for it. Just seems incredibly expensive for a tweaked C63. If they manage to sell it at that price, I'd be amazed. It's a £70-75k car at a push, in my opinion, but each to their own.

when they were first launched they were sat in the amg lounge in brooklands so when customers came to view the (sls preview)they saw the dr520 and i think they were hoping that when people ordered there sls they would order a dr520 but they seem to have struggled with them. they also did a preview at the belfre were they had footballers from villa and a couple of other clubs ,then at the festival of speed.what im trying to say is that they pitched them quite hard at people with money but still struggled to shift them.
saying that some arab will probably come along and snap them up.

The car is a beast just like any other C63 but I still can't see the fuss about matt paint.

I think another problem is that it's RHD...Surely there are some serious Merc enthusiasts in the UK, but if it was LHD I'm quite confident it would be gone long time ago...
