C63 on track - this time at Dijon Prenois

Hi all,

Here's a vid of me on Track yesterday at Dijon Prenois.

I overtook a porsche on the main straight about 3 mins or so in, then overcooked it a bit into the first turn and got a bit sideways

Still, comfortably kept in front of him and an RS6 which had some really massive looking carbon brakes.

So that's it, next track day will be with the Lucky few of you on the 29th at GW

Unfortunately the C63 is very heavy, so I take it fairly easy on the brakes, except for the big stop into the first corner, obviously. Only did relatively short stints too. And laps of the paddock to cool the brakes down afterwards of course

Honestly, I was expecting that 997 to come flying back past me in the twisties, especially as I overcooked it into the first turn immediately after passing him and went miles wide Still, was amusing to see his little wing come flapping out at the back, coming onto the main straight, just before my C63 really started shifting - more drag for him, more power for me

There was an RS6 with ceramic brakes that was behind the Porsche as well, but couldn't get past.

Some really nice driving there mate, I reckon you'll be giving Mika a run for his money now at GW in a couple of weeks time. LOL.... Tell you what you can give me a couple of pointers before we get out on that track, cause I feel I am going to need them.

It felt like pretty sh*te driving at the time, especially when I'd just out dragged that porsche and got all crossed up into the first turn

Couple of pointers: Put it in manual and sport, then don't be shy on the gas pedal out the corners
