C63 PPI HELP! MSL?

Hey everyone,

Am a new member here, so thanks for having me.

I am looking to buy a w204 C63 from an independent dealer in Birmingham, and would like to get a PPI done. I called MSL today and they have said that they don’t do PPIs , just a health check.

However, I found an old thread on here where ACID and a couple of others said that they do!

Does anyone else know of another good garage in and around Birmingham that can carry out a PPI?

I think it might be a bit weird, taking a car being retailed for sale by one independent garage to another independent garage to inspect?

I’m sure MSL would be able to give you a detailed appraisal and report - what is missing from their health check that you need before purchase?

You’ll have reasonable protection if you’re buying from a dealer anyway, should it transpire than the vehicle has major issues post sale.

In theory the dealer should have prepared the vehicle for retail sale already - I think PPIs are usually for private sales where vehicles tend to be bought without recourse.
