C63-PPP -can I fit 17x8-9 rims on rears with 40 profiles?

Hi all, looking to get grip and speed handling on c63 supercharged car on the rear axles I have 19" multies on right now but would like to put 17" on back to get max grip and : for road use only I don't do tracks
Can anyone recommend the 17" rims as I was thinking of this profile of : 265/40/17. What you all folks think??

You can get a 255/40 x 17 Yokohama A048R from Demon Tweeks - a set of those will transform the car. It's really a track day tyre but the grip when hot is extraordinary

Alternatively, Yokohama make an AD08 in the same size and it's a bit cheaper. In fact, a lot cheaper

You need to make sure 17s will fit over your calipers

Hiya Nick , thanks for that all I need is a black 17" inch wheel that closely looks like my oems currently in use , can I ask what is the closest offset ET wheel I need if I can't get oem fitment of ET54?

Will 17"s fit around the discs? Ever thought about 18's with toyo R888's

Oh yes I forgot to mention I don't know where to find this wheel size & am guessing it might a one off custom made set from a specialist . Iv tried some Google results that didn't suffice at all.

Iv heard that some on usa forums that 17 fit ok, but I want these on rear axles only. As I hate the traction keep kicking in and spoiling my speed & buzz..
