Found this thread as I am also thinking of replacing my BMW with a new C63 Estate. I've got a C63 on demo Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon so I can make my mind up before placing an order, as my head keeps saying 'chipped 335d'.

The 63 will be a lot faster and better to drive than a 335d. its apple and pears really, the m3 is really the direct competitor to the C63. good luck with whatever your choose.

Hello stranger.

Was in today to have a nosy at the build schedule. The Chassis number is now up, and the expected final inspection date still 29th. So then it has to find a way to get to me. Due to transportation schedules, earliest it can be here is 10th Nov.

Why would you want a Satan fuelled car?:dk: In fact, with your stable of rusting heaps, why bother chipping it too. Just throw out one of the other makes and buy the Merc. It is simple really.:doh:

I have a spare underground garage space for whichever you throw out. I can look after it until you find yourself needing it again.

Let's not forget. I am troll and this thread is just to waste peoples time as obviously I won't be getting a C63AMG estate (63204) as I failed to see (or get an idea) why it needed LSD or indeed, what benefit an LSD would have. Hence starting a thread about a car some believe is a dream car.

And with a Max speed of 35mph on this island, why would anyone get one!

So I guess within the next 3 weeks, we will know whether my troll type ways were indeed time wasting for the forum, or if I actualy will own a "off silver exterior (sorry guys, went for palladium right at the end), alpaca grey interior, COMAND, HK, reverse camered park tronic pre wired 5 doored 450+BHP V8"

No it is not. It is diesel, the fuel of satan, vs Petrol, the fuel of Gods.

Matt currently does not have a V8 petrol is his vehicular harem and therefore choosing a tractor engined smoke emitter is just plain daft when clearly the hole currently in his life needs filling.

He also needs to remember that V8 sound. Far better than the rattle and shake of the agricultural side of motoring.:wallbash:

I am now off to hide while all the Anti-Petroleum brigade come along and pontificate at great lenght about how wrong I am.:ban:

Pretty sure you need the C63 Maff :D

The noise alone has to be worth it on the '63.

If he waits till 23rd Dec, he could get a look at a passing C Estate for further proof.
 
I had the pleasure of a C63 AMG Estate at Brooklands last week for one hour.

Can promise you - after 2 minutes I completely forgot about the estate - drives like a beast. Fabulous car !!

Just had a look at the pics - are the discs rusty? Or is that the golden haze of heat....... :)
 
its the rust that occurs when its raining. strangely the rears didn't show it.

It has to get its pre delivery inspection yet, and also its delivery valet. We had to remove some of the seat protector coverings to get them piccies. Well the spanner man did anyway.

This is pretty much what it looked like after leaving the factory.

Stole the handbook however, so I can have a read.
 
I'd get some decent locking wheel nuts too before some real life scumbag has them away and onto ebay!

Fantastic looking car though - love the colour combination.

The locking nuts go on at the PDI.

These piccies are pre PDI. In fact, it has only just been taken off the delivery vehicle and moved from outside to inside the dealer.

All mechy checks to be done Monday.

Cleaned up Tuesday Morning, mine as soon as paperwork for registration and so on is done.....
 
Very very nice interior Scumbag...I so wish my interior wasn't black!

Also didn't realise that when you ordered a lighter colour interior (what is that colour again?) you got it extended onto the lower half of the dash.

Loving it Rashman :thumb: - I've had some nice motors but this one still amazes me! It's just so damn....good....at everything!

Even after getting used to the sound and driving it everyday it still amazes me when I start it up every morning! :bannana:

On the drag strip it was very impressive - it was over a second quicker on the 1/4 mile than my M3 was and that was after just one go!

Scumbag - you're gonna love it!
