C63s W205 Cluncky Manual Gears

When it's cold and in manual gears either in comfort or sports+ the gear changes are smooth. After a while when the engine warms up the third to forth gear is really clunky. Feels like it's being slammed in and the car jolts forward slightly. Switch back to auto and it's smoothly through all the gears. Doesn't do it every time. More frequent in Sport+ than comfort.

The higher the revs the less the problem. But if the auto mode can switch up without a jolt at low revs why can't it in manual mode? Guess I'm missing something??

Thanks.

I was thinking about this today! In mine it's first to second, and I wondered if I needed to ease off the throttle a little while changing. I wonder if in full auto it does it for you without you noticing, but in manual it doesn't? Just a theory!

I noticed a jerky change when I had va test drive but thought it was just me?

Maybe worth doing a gearbox parameter reset so it relearns your driving style.

Had the same issue, my local dealer carried out a software upgrade yesterday and all seemed fine today.

Hi!

Mine is the same, sometimes in auto to the sift from 3rd to forth can be a bit harsh.
Also the stop start hasn't worked for many weeks now and this morning the drivers door LED has packed in.

Sorry to hear that buddy, hopefully you're still under warranty? Hoping these issues are not widespread with the w205.

Do they have a dct transmission?
I'm asking because I haven't seen any W205 63's in the shop yet. If they do I'd bet it was a software issue.

They have the same box as the W204 C63, 7 speed
