Cabin odour bombs

With small bursts from Dakota spray did you get any residue that looked like a layer of dust covering the interior?
I chatted with a seller of Dakota products, he told me that if Dakota was sprayed in full blast, the content would cover the interior as a layer of dust.
Then needed to wipe it off everywhere where it soiled the cabin.
Seems like lot of work for a full blast spray?

I used at least half a can in one go. Didn’t have any issue with dust or anything like that. Was enough to remove the smoke smell in one hit.

For how long did the Dakota bomb work for you?
What flavor did you pick? ;)
Did you let the content work it's magic for 2 hours and then air it out for 30 minutes before you could drive your car?
I will order the neutral scent fragrance from Dakota for future purposes.

Will try this first, next week I'm taking my car to a detail shop for Autosmarts Aromatek therapy, I picked the Neutrox fragrance.

How long as in how long did the odour go away for? Permanently.

Went for ‘new car scent’... no complaints.

I ran the fans on max for 15 mins or so and then left the car closed at the end of the day overnight. By the morning it was ok to drive with the windows open.

Great, thanks.
That's great Dakota bomb permanently removed the odour.
Some products only work for a few weeks or few months and smell comes back, we don't want that lingering funkiness!
Smell once removed it should stay away forever.

I will buy some stuff from webshop motorgeek in UK, they have plenty of good chemicals.

£9.85 delivered on eBay FYI...

Sellers on fleabay who sells Dakota opted for the appalling Global shipping programme, they don't combine shipping for multiple items.
I must say YUCK for this customer service! :(
GSP is very steep on shipping charges, that's why people loathe them. o_O:eek:

The other sellers scrolled down on ebay page seem not to offer INT shipping?

Ah didn’t notice you were outside the U.K. What country are you in?

Amazon could be another option.

Just steam clean the carpets (and cloth upholstery), gentle soap wash down all the other surfaces.

I have leather seats in my car.
After I take my car to detail shop for the Avtosmart aromatek treatment, I will do an interior clean, vacuuming the carpets, wipe everything clean and do a leather treatment on seats and door cards.
Hopefully interior smell will stay neutral?

Found some good info from UK detailers about Autosmart Aromatek product
Seems like it does a great job.
I feel confident about this product.

Update

Took my car to the detailer today.
Had the interior treated with Avtosmarts Aromatek machine.
It seems like the machine and cartridge did the job nicely!?
I now have a much more pleasent smell in the car.
Let's hope this treatment lasts forever and no foul odour comes back.

I will report back if anything changes?
