camber correction

as i mentioned in a previous thread, my dad has a W124 89 300CE. it has full lorinser/bilstein suspension, lowered by about 30mm. it did have 8x17 Lorinser R90's till we swapped them with 8+9x18 AMG softlines. since we fitted them the wheels have a massive amount of camber (cant remember whether positive or negative, where bottom spread out and tops of wheels closer to gether).

i seem to remember there being some way of rectifying this and was just wondering if anyone could help as i'm worried about the uneven tyre wear. conti sports aint that cheap to replace on a regular basis!!

Dont mess about with the camber angles yourself. This is definatley a job for a specialist as laser aligning tools are needed. Merc stealers will charge you about £150 for this privalege, dont know what the idependant will charge though.

You need asjustable camber arms as the originals are not adjustable. Have a look at this thread.

Here are a set (new &adjustable +old) for a W201 courtesy of 2phast. Your W124 ones would be very similar
