You will have to take the wheel(s) off soon to replace the grooved discs (the grooves are often deeper on the inner face) you can refurb the wheels then.

Can’t knock a Focus!Buy her a 2004 Ford Focus with 15" steel wheels
Are these policies even worth the paper they are printed on? I know some of the ones the dealers provide upon purchase are OK, but others less so.You can get allow wheel insurance nowadays. I raed 4 times in a year you can claim. How this would affect your car insurance I do not know

It’s in the garage tomorrow for two new tyres. The reason my Mrs isn't allowed to drive mine !
Her car is in a similar mess to yours, but I wouldn't let her drive it with a tyre in that condition.
I'd get that changed pronto
I must admit, I’m not at all impressed with the wheels. Here’s 10 years of neglect on my car…no she hasn’t just damaged her own wheels! But even with the kerb grazes, the rest of the wheel shouldn’t look this bad!To be fair it looks like the salt and rain had got under the lacquer a while before it was kerbed....so probably needed a refurb anyway.....
....and there is absolutely no safety risk with that tyre....just a bit of the rim protection (!) scuffed away.

£200 to refurb them in powder coat.. why would you not? Even if she kerbs them again at least only the edges will be damaged.I must admit, I’m not at all impressed with the wheels. Flippin' short term car parks at Gatwick are just as bad.I thought I was pretty good at avoiding curbs until I went down one of those spiral ramps at Heathrow and got the dreaded sound from the passenger side wheels kerbing. Since then my wheels seem to be drawn to the damn things. Why can't MB do those wing mirrors which lower when they sense that you are parking next to the kerb or do they already do this as an optional extra?
They look horrendous. If as you say neglect, then thats the owner negligence.I must admit, I’m not at all impressed with the wheels. Here’s 10 years of neglect on my car…no she hasn’t just damaged her own wheels! But even with the kerb grazes, the rest of the wheel shouldn’t look this bad!
Have to say if fitted they really do make a difference when avoiding the kerb. Why can't MB do those wing mirrors which lower when they sense that you are parking next to the kerb or do they already do this as an optional extra?
