I hope I'm not the only person who has a really hankering for one of these

They just don't float my boat.

If I were in the market to buy a "Two bedroom house" to drive around in I'd prefer a Bentley Arnage or Flying Spur

You might need to borrow again when you go for a service, also 5 owners i think is to many for such car

Def agree with you on this one - 5 owners for such a prestigous car is a bit much in my opinion, especially on a car like this.

If it was A Ford Sierra then that would be quite acceptable (no offence to any Ford owners)..!!! :thumb:

Exterior ? :dk:

You'd think he would sort out the scuffs on a car like that to sell it wouldn't you ?

For sure, I think the external condition of the car says quite alot about the previous owner - I mean 5 previous owners..!!!

I wonder how many potential Maybach customers would be happy buying off e-bay from some bloke that can't spell and appears to live on a farm?
Looks cheap at £40K and even the BIN price of £65K seems a bargain for what it is (assuming it's not a scam).
You gotta love the back seats

More the car to be driven-in than the driver.....wouldn't pay the asking price...even if that was for a new one!!
Wouldn't mind being chauffered about in one for the day though.....:thumb:

No, it's a close up of the damage to the front bumper.
I reckon all the damage could be fixed and painted for less than a grand. Makes you wonder why they don't just sort it out before selling it?

Maybe offset the running costs by doing some chauffeuring?

As I've said before I quite like the Maybachs. Decent 'value' too if you look at it - although having said that I imagine the depreciation from now will be savage.

Ha Ha Ha.......The depriciation UP UNTIL now has been savage to say the least.....:D

Imagine if you bought one new then went to trade it in after 5 years and you lost about £200k in depriciation........sir "your car has depriciated as much as a house"

Yes, agree with others, why not get the issues sorted?

Personally I think they are one ugly looking motor, I wouldn't have one even if I could afford one.

That's good for me that not many people like them. I'm hoping values will tumble in 5 years or so to a level that an idiot like me could afford. Like you say servicing will be an issue. Wonder if Olly at PCS fancies becoming a Maybach specialist....

It's just an S class with a fugly body ...

Thats one ugly car in a cr*p colour. It is only for Arfur Daly - no genuine MAybach buyer is going to buy a knocked about model with 5 owners on ebay.
its just right for a trader to buy to get the body sorted, smoke around in it for 2 months sell it on at BCA for a few grand profit and then be able to say "when I had the Maybach....."
