had some work done on a champagne w123 some years ago at the local dealers & it came back a perfect colour match.
Mine was repaired by a Mercedes approved body shop and was collected by my local dealer afterwards so they could reset all the electrics etc, they failed to notice that the doors were not hung properly and I have just got the car back for the second time..The paintwork was perfect, :bannana: as were the repairs, the garage just failed on finishing the job with as much care as I would have expected, now I have a problem with the interior light switch on the drivers door so it will be going back again when I get the chanceuumode said:Then when I get it back, have to check if everything works on the doors, like central locking, electric seats, electric steering wheel, folding mirrors, speakers, interior light, electric windows, anti hijack...

uumode said:just had a thought there is another item in the doors... how do you know if the bodyshop has put back the door's airbags correctly? Presumably that would appear in the diagnostics and flag up a warning in the dash if not correctly connected? If there isn't you would be none the wiser
