Car damaged again!

for the 3rd time in a year, my car has been damaged by some mindless t**t - first time it was the badge, next time it was damaged door panels (new door!), this time someone has 'knifed' the front passenger side door - it was parked outside a friends house near Chelmsford over the weekend - the only car to be damaged in the road - needless to say, I am hacked off!

However, I'm not looking for sympathy, I could really do with some advice as to what to do with the damage - I am reluctant to go through the insurance company (had to do this last time and it cost me £200) - the cut seems clean and I don't think it cuts down to the metal (it's about 18" long) - seems to have been done with a sharp knife, rather than a key.

Would one of those 'scratch' specialist companies be able to deal with this do you think? Anyone know of any in Bristol?
Cheers
Andy

Someone keyed down the two doors on my e240. When I showed the scratch to the scratch repairs guys they advised bodyshop. It wasn't to the metal but was deep enough. As it was a designo colour Road and Race Restorations in Walkden ended up respraying the whole side.

You can try the scratch repairs and see what they say.

I have used a company called Bak2Nu Ltd in the past who were based in North Common Bristol. Tel 01179040010 or 08456044433. You could try them.

mindless morons yet again-what annoys me is them more than the damage because they go off free. ****holes in the world
