Hi

Can anybody recommend what cable I should be looking for to connect to CarSoft 7.4 running on a PC. It's for a 2003 SLK running CAM Bus Technology.

I can't find a UK supplier, only on in the States, approx $100 plus shipping.

Should I be using a Serial Port Conenctor rather than USB if possible?

Any advice appreciated

Serial port. You also need the multiplexer box to sit between the PC and the car.....so a cable goes from the PC to the multiplexer, and andother cable from the multiplexer to the car diagnostics port.

I got mine from China.....there are Chinese suppliers that do the whole kit for this.
