Cd player cover w211 help needed

W211 slight problem with CD player unit can anybody help?

The panel that covers the CD player that lifts off to reveal the player so dics can be changed has stopped working?
The front unit no longer will respond to the push of the button the unit will make clicking noises but the front will not lift off the cd player .
All other control buttons still work on the front panel hazard lights head rest drop etc can anybody help ?

Or know where I can get this unit looked at as it unplugs out of the consel. I am no expert but it seems like the motor or cogs that move the front off are broke or need replacing the motor still works as it constantly clicks trying to move the front panel
any suggestions?

Just for future reference I couldnt find anybody to look at the unit so I took it apart and found that a plastic cog had worn down hence thats why I could hear the motor moving but not engaging with the front panel.
I filed a new edge and replaced as took apart to find a smooth working unit again
