central locking and dash

hi,i have a ml270cdi 2001 can anyone help i can lock it with the inside switch but not from the key fob,i put new batteries in but nothing.allso i have a bulb out on speedo and on heater controlls,can anyone tell me how to get the dash of both off thanks terry.

You will need tools to take the dash out. they look like long slender pins.
have you tried synchronising the locks when you put the new batteries? and do you have a spare key you can try?
For the heater control, not sure but some ML owners will be along soon.
