Change of grill to my W211 e class

Is this a step too far? Or is it stylish? I think its stylish but then I keep seeing pictures of Mercs on this forum being laughed at for having gone too far down the mods route. Opinions welcome. I am trying to be stylishly different from the very many e-class's that are now in my area -

Looks good and would go with ur alloys BUT the front sort of looks similar to a Jag S Type.

Go on and treat urself as the silver painted grill goes with ur paintwork too...

I think it looks really good but I love the star on the bonnet, hence I wouldn't because I would want to keep the 'crosshairs'

If you lose the orange corner reflectors with some clear ones it would look even better

I was thinking that, but does the E55 have the V8 Kompressor badges on the wing? My poor eyesight cannot see it.

As Marc has now said it is a library picture and my guess is it is a US E-class with some AMG options.

The reason I queried the E270CDI is simply because that engine is not imported into the US on the E-class.

Edit:
Just gone to Marc's link and on a different picture of the same vehicle there might possibly be the V8 badge, so it could well be the E55. (Definitely not a 270CDI )
