Typical turns out the Square is fully booked on both the 8th and the 15th June, which surprised Nigel and me. It was all going too smoothly!

Lets concentrate on June 1st then. I've checked and the Square private room is free, so I've provisionally booked it. I'm actually away, but I'll get all the arrangements done including wines etc, I fear otherwise we will be here forever sorting a date out!

Whilst i totally appreciate, one, the work Charles has already put in here, (its always a nightmare putting a group of people together), and two, the venue is not completed at this exact time, which will result in even more work, time and effort for Charles, but I do feel that we must have Charles attendance on the day, I personally will be bitterly disappointed not to have him there, as well as a few of the other guys I know well and enjoy their company. Irrespective of what date this venue ends up at, the majority interested parties on a date that Charles raises should rule, or this event could rumble on forever.
Anyway need someone there to tell me what I am actually eating and drinking!

Right, I've emailed Nigel and told him 1st is off (blaming myself entirely).

I want to get this sorted for a date by the end of June, as we are otherwise into holidays and I can see us not getting a date until the autumn.

I am busy now, but will sort out some revised suggestions over the weekend and then if we can't get a date we can all do, it will be the one with the fewest people who can't attend.

Ok, after a very un-productive exchange of emailed dates before the summer sets in, I have been given September 7th, 14th and 21st. I am going to be going to the Goodwood Revival so will not be able to do the 14th.

I want to nail this date down as soon as possible. Of those interested, including any not so far registered, which dates can you do. This is the last time I am going to look for a date.
