Cheap 1 owner 190E?

apart from that "2cm" dent which looks a lot bigger than that in the side view everything else is largely cosmetic.

If I was looking for a 190 that car would certainly be on my shopping list.

yes, I know. The seller has said.

he's also emailed me a pic of the interior wear on the drivers seat. What's everyone's opinion? He's said the dark/grey colour is shadow caused by light.

Looking at the state of the seat I think it was owned by a naturist.

Seriously though, I don't see what the fuss is about. There are lots of cheap 190s around. Just because it's a one owner car doesn't mean it has been cared for.

It's a 15 year old car in average condition with low milage and a full service history. The driver seat is well worn and that will only get worse. BUT - it's a solid MB and it's cheap. The cosmetic changes can be put right fairly easily but I would want a really close look at all the bodywork. It looks ok and the dent has clearly broken the paint and caused rusting which would need treatment.

Depends what you're looking for, a run about or a restoration project. Either way - looks OK. But I'd want to have a proper look at it and the engine bay etc before going for it. Cheap as it is - it could be a winner or a loser.

Those seat marks look like sweat to me, probablly nothing more sinister than someone wearing shorts in summer for tha last 15 years! :-)

If the engine and drivetrain are good, it will be a great fun car. I want another one.
