Thats a good price I looked at an identical 03 car with 18,000 miles last night at a Bentley dealer and they wanted 42500. But there were a few options i wanted not on there and the wife does not like silver!

Looks genuine enough to me. As mentioned he's probably trying to make a bit more than the crappy trade-in offered by the dealer.

thats a bargin if ever u say if its genuine..... its in cov aswell if only i had 30k lying around could make a tidy profit, must be going to gerrard mann here in cov.... that is a poor return on a 50-60k car in just 3-4 yrs

Not really, 50% resale after 3 years is average for most cars. Some do better, (911 etc) but a car that retains more than 50% of its original value in it's first 3 years is rare.

50% is way above average for most cars for 3 year residuals. I think Alfas are around 25%!

It's still quite low for an '02 plate with that mileage and spec. New it would have been just over £70k.
